My
Journey
University of California, Davis '24
B.S Data Science, Minor Mathematics
Creative • Philosipher • Engineer
At age 17 the road of the future was dark. An undying passion for mathematics in parallel
with a curiosity for the turning world didnt seem to red carpet a calling. In the midst of obscurity,
an opportunity arose with a course at my high school, James C. Enochs, Introduction to Computer Science.
It was there I discovered the possibility of building, creating, and engineering with a blueprint in mind.
Bringing ideas to fruition, navigating challenging roadblocks—shortly after, I found to have a drive for this.
This was the experience that lit the flame to a lifelong passion
From a generation that had never been to college, I was the first to step into academia.
No guidance, no mentor, no road-map, it was just me, navigating the dark and uncharted expanse of my own adventure.
I enrolled at Ohlone College, a local community college, and chose computer science as my field of study.
As I delved deeper into theoretical concepts, my fondness for the subject grew.
Two years passed quick.
It was time to transition to bigger dreams: a university. I chose the University of California, Davis, with a slight shift into Data Science
in honor of my love for mathematics. Another two years facilitated the manifestation of a desire. A desire to design,
engineer and create. Now, as an upcoming graduate, the desire beared fruit into concrete goals. The eagerness for the future, the love for mathematics and science,
and the drive to create are what fuel me. This is my journey.
